Cleanliness:

Sweetsand is predominantly the source of scrubbing as lye and fat based soap is very rare. Ut a naturally foaming fine sand, can get out the stench of firestone and works also on any other strong smell or heavy soil. Saponin root and lanolin are used for sensitive skin and fine hair. Fuller's earth, a rare clay, is good for the complexion and for cleaning certain kinds of fabrics. Oils and vegetable waxes are good for cleaning floors, and still other herbal oils make do for skin treatments. Bathing pools are found in most Weyr rooms. The lower caverns have shared bathing rooms.

Weyrs:

The individual dragon weyr will consist of a large room with a stone couch worn by centuries of dragon hide. Access to a sun parlor behind the ledge on the bowl has a baffle to keep the wind out. The air is warm in the dragon's weyr. Some dragons require a thin rug on their couches to protect them from the cold. The rider will sleep in a small chamber off of the dragon's weyr. The bed is made out of reeds, grasses, straw and/or down. The Queen's chamber and Wingleader's chamber have meeting room.
