Physical Appearance

Physical Description		Quarra has thick black hair that's cut very short, dragonrider style. Her pale blue green eyes have a slight alond cast and look slightly exotic next to her darker than usual skin. She is on the shorter side of medium and with muscles that tend to sinew, making her lean and wiry. Stretch marks along her stomach are a reminder of the children she has borne and a few healed threadscores have made lighter streak across her back and thighs. Quarra loves pearls and although she has nowhere near the collection she dreams of, she does own a few beautiful pieces, like a string of tiny seed pearls, a necklace of evenly matched round ones, and a pair of dangly pearl earrings that she only takes off during Fall. From a young age Quarra has had a tendancy to want to know a bit about everything, and more more about everyone else. She's more into facts than gossip and doesn't get into discussing rumours. She's a no nonsense sort of person, although the death of her long time weyrmate has made her more cautious and worrisome than before. She has a flair for management and a need to organise everything around her. Her attention span is long enough to follow through every little detail, which has resulted in some people calling her a perfectionist; she prefers to call herself dedicated. She has a nearly photographic memory and can recall facts and faces from many turns ago.
Dragon's Description		Kollianth is, like her rider, on the small side of medium. She's quick and energetic and extremely dedicated during drills and Fall. Her quick skills and have gained her the respect of her wingmates, while her flirting has given her a minor following of browns and blues.

Personal History

She was born in Cascade Weyr to dragonriding parents and received the usual weyrbrat upbringing. She was 13 when she Impressed her green lifemate, Kollianth. Small as greens go, Kollianth had boundless energy and personality to boot and her flirty nature soon became aparent, not without effect on the fairly sedate young Quarra. A larger then normal number of browns and blues chased the green during her first flight, and even when not in the urge to mate, Kollianth would tease the males and quite often allow them to catch her. Quarra on the other hand, while enjoying the attention, fell in love with a particular brownrider, O'ruk. O'ruk's brown became quite adept at catching Kollianth and together with his rider, developed a fondness for the greenrider pair that soon grew to love. The weyrmated pairing lasted for many turns before ending abruptly just four turns ago. O'ruk and his brown where severely threadscored during a gusty Fall and despite making some progress towards recovery, the knowledge they would never fly again proved too much and the pair went /between/. In the following turns Quarra has almost recovered, although she continues to shy away from commitment and constantly worries about her three children, Qualla and Ol'tan, who had Impressed dragons of their own, and her youngest Aquarro, in whom she's trying to foster a craft orientated interest.
