Physical Appearance

Physical Description Smallish thin woman with delicate elfin features, she often appears delicate and fragile. She has short-cropped red hair above her ears and penetrating green eyes. She has a dainty pointed chin and high cheekbones that stand out sharply on her thin face. She has large eyes and a thin pointed nose. The strange image is finished off with a thin delicate mouth.
She appears small and thin, in fact not one part of Edyassi is even of average size, from her feet to her face everything about her is considered petite. But she is not weak, she is in fact very fit and quite strong for her size. She wears tight fitting and well-tailored clothes, despite being only a farmer. She never wears any jewellery as they all tend to look to large on her, but she does carry a belt knife tucked into the back of her neat trousers where-ever she goes.

Despite her appearance she is in fact very strong, she has lived through much more than her age suggests and is much stronger inside and physically than she appears. But she can also look older than her years to, and acts far more serious than is generally considered healthy.

She is quick to be on the offensive and very rarely lets her guard down. She never lets people gets close, and keeps even her friends at arms length, most people don?t know why she is so distant but they know not to comment on it. She doesn?t speak about her feelings at all and is secretive about everything even when there is nothing to be secretive about.

She is a hard worker though and due to her stubbornness and never allowing anyone to help her she has become skilled at whatever she does. She hates to see people slacking and is usually considered a nagging old woman by her apprentices, though they never say that to her face!
Pet(s) Description Tall sturdy white runner. White all over with not even a hint of different shades. Edyassi raised her from birth when her mother died. She felt an instant attraction to the beautiful white mare who looked almost ghost like to everyone else. She was shocked at how large Kedri grew and looks quite out of place when she rides the huge runner.

She was named after Kedrin the farmer who trained her. Kedri seems to have the same calm understanding personality as him. But she is deadly loyal and won?t let anyone else but Edyassi near her.

Personality & Traits

Personal History Born in a small northern hold where woman were treated as little more than drudges Edyassi quickly learned that being small had its advantages. She would hide whenever she was sad or frightened and was usually never found. Her father, a small cot holder, resented her birth more than anything. She was his first child and he had always wanted a son to take over his cot hold.
Edyassi was resented even more when her mother died a few days after her birth, the woman had been petite like Edyassi and the healers said that this was why she couldn?t handle giving birth. Though her father re-married and had sons he still hated Edyassi and would always vent his anger on her.

At the age of 6 Edyassi over-heard her father telling his new wife that Edyassi had killed his first love because she had been to small to handle child birth. Edyassi was so sad and angry with herself that she ran away and promised herself that she would never die because she was too weak.

She moved from place to place stealing whatever she could for 2 turns till she came to a harbour and stowed away on a boat to the south. When the sailors found her they were angry and would have thrown her over-board except the captain took to her elfin features and kept her as a good luck charm. Which she seemed to be until the age of 13 when pirates took over their boat and took her with them.

While with the pirates Edyassi learned the hard way, how cruel people could be, she also learned that not asking for anything and acting as inconspicuous as possible had its advantages. But the pirates soon became to much as she turned 14; despite the dangers she jumped ship and swam away as fast as she could.

She was rescued by dolphins and found herself half drowned in the north again, from then on she dedicated herself to becoming a Dolphineer, but most people laughed at her and said she wasn't old enough since she appeared much younger than 14.

Eventually Edyassi found an old farmer who believed her age and agreed to train her in his craft. She took to plants like a fish to water and soon found she had a real skill but she never forgot her dream and when the old farmer died she caught the first ship to the south and set off at the age of 26.
