Chavvi is hoping for another growth spurt--she stands 5'5 and 140lbs, short and stocky like so many of her family. She keeps her rich brown hair up at almost all times, either braided and pinned to her head or in a bun. Her eyes are a rich blue, just about the only startling and eye-catching thing about her--physically. She hopes that she will improve in a few years--there lies promise of elegant cheekbones and a slightly narrower face in time, perhaps a few more inches to her height. Chavvi loves clothing--not quantity as much as quality. Her one weakness is leather jerkins, which she absolutely loves; she owns several with intricately tooled designs on each. Normally she wears loose tunics and breeches or dresses, preferring the former to the latter. Chavvi is rather solemn; calm, cool and collected most of the time, and rarely does she let her hair down--physically and metaphorically. She takes her Craft extremely seriously, and can often be found pouring over texts and diagrams with her friends. Chavvi is easy to get along with once one passes the solemn face and mood, extremely protective of her friends. She is quite interested in wines and their variants, experimenting with other than the traditional wine.

Personal History

Chavvi's parents were both Vintners, and were pleasantly surprised by her birth--her mother had thought she was barren after so many years, but Chavvi was born when she was in her late thirties. They had never much time for her, so she often wandered around the Hall and the vinyards, asking questions. Extremely serious even as a youngster, she Apprenticed to the Vintners--as everyone expected. Now, as a junior journeywoman, she is working on some "different" sorts of alcoholic beverage, fermenting different fruits and experimenting with their results. She frequently takes day trips, with the permission of the Hall, for exploration to discover new things to brew, and has stopped over at Cascade Weyr several times during her travels. She has befriended a few of the riders, and brings them her "experiments" for consumption--after, of course, her Hall has declared them nonpoisonous.
